A Synthetic Illusion

Enter a world of drugs, money and sex....

Not all friendships are epic novels, some are just short stories however even short stories can change our life forever.

My pen name is Christian Clarke, after a very successful 20 year stint in hospitality and clubland, I decided to throw caution to the wind and embark on a journey that completely changed my life.
I was given this opportunity through one of my ex-waitresses who was working as an escort for one of Melbourne's elite escort agencies.

My introduction to the industry was as a driver taking escorts from booking to booking.

I had just turned 40 and being a completely image obsessed party boy I was beginning to fear that my time in the sun was over. The younger generation had hit the clubs and the rockers in my age group were becoming obsolete.

I thought I had seen it all, I had survived the 80's, owned the 90's and by the time the noughties came along the gangland wars had erupted.  Friends turned on friends, enemies appeared from everywhere and the demise of clubland reared its ugly head. Gone were the good old days when everyone was out to have fun, enjoy the music and ROCK like superstars.

In the wonderful world of prostitution societies rules don't apply. Here its the law of the jungle, only the strong survive and fortune favours the bold.

I go back to my original phrase that not all friendships are epic novels. In my two year stint in the sex industry I met people who completely changed my life. I did things I never dreamt I would be doing and all to supply a drug habit that had spiralled out of control.

A Synthetic Illusion is based on my two year journey in Melbourne's sex industry. This Blog will not give away the pages of my book, instead it will allow you to share my personal stories about prostitution and the people involved in it. I will be updating my Blog once a week with juicy gossip and tantalising tales that I hope will entertain and maybe slightly shock!

Sit back and enjoy the ride - just like I did.
